Mills&Loon comprises of Jonathan Mills and Lora (bit of a loony) Millward.Jon helps with the production of many of their lovely wooden creations like the fishing boats, cottages, sign posts and key and coat hooks ….while Lora designs and creates most of the other goodies, such as the wooden cottages, textile appliques, framed bottles of sand, sea glass windows and handmade cards.Originally from Manchester, Lora studied BSc Honours Degree in Textile Technology and Marketing at Bolton Institute. She has always dreamt of selling her own creations in the Cornish Gift shops and Galleries she often frequented as a child. In the last 10 years, these dreams have finally become reality. Now living in Crantock with Jon and her two girls, most of Mills&Loons creations are made from ‘their’ kind of treasure. Pieces washed up by the sea and found on local beaches or reclaimed old Cornish, weathered wood.Whether you are a visitor or local to Cornwall and like all things ‘coastal’, Mills&Loon hope that you get the spirit of their little wares and can find that special something for your home, or as a gift for someone else ……. if you can bear to give it away.

Hi everyone, my name is Kim Thane, and I am an artist from Looe in Cornwall. I came to Cornwall when I was fourteen and have been here ever since. I take a lot of my inspiration from the surrounding countryside and gorgeous coastlines that Cornwall has to offer. Plenty of wonderful scenery and animals to inspire me on a daily basis. I started to work resin into my art only recently and find it a wonderful medium to work with. It seems to bring a painting to life giving it a depth and colour that painting alone does not always reach, and the sparkles really do sparkle!! I really do hope you enjoy looking at my art as much as I enjoy creating it. If you have an animal or scenery in mind that you would like me to paint in my style, then I am a happy to take on commission work. You can either send me an email by visiting my website at kimthaneart.com, or visit my Facebook page Kim Thane Art, where you will find plenty of videos and pictures of my pieces to give you an idea of how they look in real life.
Bye for now lovelies Kim

Hi,….. My name is Peter
Peter Hodges Photography is a small self-employed photography business based in Cornwall. I am a self-taught photographer, with my passion lying mainly in landscape photography.
My previous employment was 30+ years in the printing and binding of books, and after redundancy in 2013, I decided to turn my then photographic hobby into my full-time career, with many things learnt along the way.
Staring through the viewfinder of a camera is a wonderful way to unwind, with the dramatic Cornish coastline always a pleasure to gaze over. People say that Cornwall has such beautiful colour and I try to capture this as best as I can.
I do not just take the images you can view, but I also have control on the printing process, the mounting process, and the presentation process by doing this all myself. All my frames are purchased locally, and I finish off the framing presentation of each image I select.
Photography tuition is another service option I offer, from evening classes for beginners to one day landscape workshops for the more advanced.

Hi, my name is Natasha Laidlaw, and I am the designer and maker behind ‘The Cornish Gnome’ All the little characters came into my mind when exploring our lovely Cornish slang such as ‘Dreckly’ and ‘Proper Job.’ I really loved all the designs of Nordic gnomes that had been emerging in 2019 and so tried to combine that with the slang and of course the Cornish Tartan. February 2020 The Cornish Gnome was born. All products available have been printed by me in my workshop in Newquay.

I am a self-taught mixed media artist who in 2016, after leaving work in the NHS, fulfilled my dream of living and working in Cornwall. I now live by the coast in North Cornwall with my husband where we run our holiday cottage and enjoy lots of walking and singing.
I was first introduced to making art through art journaling and enjoy playing with all sorts of media - paint, inks, pen, charcoal, texture paste, paper, vintage books and maps, found objects - anything really! I love to upcycle things where I can and create my pieces on wood, canvas or re-purposed boxes. My colour palette is mostly inspired by life in this beautiful part of the world.
I usually add words to my work inspired by living by the sea, mindfulness, song lyrics and poetry. Personally, I need constant reminders to pause and pay attention to what's happening in the present moment. I hope that my work might be an invitation for you too, to pause for a moment and notice.

My name is Helen and I am the founder of The Cornish Toadstool.
I am an earthenware and polymer clay artist that specializes in Three-dimensional family, pet, character and Cornish clay creations. With 25 years of hands on experience each of my sculptures are handmade one of a kind pieces and I use no moulds in crafting them. My pieces can take hours or sometimes days to create here in my little studio on the North Cornish Coast.
My creative background has evolved from my family members and friends, from a very young age, surrounded by clay, paint, fabrics and inspiration from wonderful books to enrich my imagination.
I have lived in the same little Cornish village my whole life, situated between beaches, rugged coastline, woodlands, moorlands and the endless beauty of North Cornwall.
Proper Cornish gifts made by a proper Cornish maid!

They are presented in gift box tied with string.
When we moved to Cornwall in 2018, I set up my studio with a potter’s wheel and kiln. I had studied pottery for many years while living in the Cotswolds, and now was my chance to create a style of my own. I throw a section of functional stoneware mugs, jugs, bowls and dishes. My inspiration for their decoration is usually from the coast, glazed in blues and whites, with decorative shell features. The main glaze I use is blue celadon over a speckled stoneware clay. Recently I have added an oatmeal glaze which gives the look of sea and sand.
Hi, I'm Michelle Costello - a Cornish beach cleaner. I have been cleaning beaches since the storms of 2014.
Amongst the micro-plastic on the strandline I often find toy soldiers, lego, vintage toys and SMARTIE LIDS.
So Smartie Lids on the Beach was born. Firstly a Facebook page and then an Instagram page now with over 14,000 followers from all over the world.
I am passionate about raising awareness of plastic on our beaches and reducing the amount of plastic we use in our day to day lives.
Please visit my website, Instagram or Facebook page and read more about the fascinating things I find when I beach clean and see the quirky art I make from the plastic I collect.
My art tells a story, it is conversation starting and thought provoking. From seed heads to orcas, colour wheels to busy bees, there is something for everyone.

I am a Cornish printmaker, working mainly in traditional grey lino (like the stuff you probably used at school).
As well as handprinting, I like to reproduce my linocut designs digitally, to make greetings cards, giclee prints and decorated home and giftware.
